WOOP - Kültéri Fel & Le Fali Lámpa (Rendl Light)

BU-OH LED combines a compact geometric body with a playful visual reference inspired by the eyes of an owl. The rounded light apertures soften the technical appearance of the integrated LED source and give the fixture a more expressive personality than a conventional outdoor wall light. Its dark grey aluminium structure keeps the form visually grounded during daylight hours, while the opal diffuser allows the warm 3000K light to spread evenly on all four sides. We see this piece as an exterior lighting element that balances architectural clarity with a more approachable and character-driven design language.

In our projects at HBellorín, we would use BU-OH LED on garden walls, entrance façades, terraces, or exterior circulation areas where outdoor lighting should contribute atmosphere as much as visibility. The four-sided indirect light distribution creates a soft ambient glow that works especially well on textured exterior surfaces such as rendered walls, stone, or concrete. In contemporary Budapest residential projects, particularly in landscaped Buda properties, this type of fixture helps define outdoor spaces at night while introducing a warmer and more relaxed visual tone than highly technical architectural lighting.

BU-OH LED was designed by Estudi Ribaudí for Faro Barcelona as part of the brand’s contemporary outdoor lighting collection. The design combines durable outdoor materials with a more expressive sculptural identity, using the visual analogy of owl eyes to shape the light openings. Faro Barcelona approaches exterior lighting here not only as a functional necessity but also as a way to introduce personality and atmosphere into outdoor architectural environments through indirect LED illumination and compact forms.
