BALIC is defined by its compact, geometric form and architectural clarity. The black aluminium body reads as a precise volume against the wall, allowing the light effect rather than the fixture to take visual priority. Its prism glass diffuser subtly modulates the output, creating a controlled asymmetry that adds depth and rhythm to vertical surfaces. The design avoids decorative excess, focusing instead on proportion and light distribution. This restraint makes it particularly effective in contemporary exterior compositions where clean lines and material contrast are essential.

In our projects at HBellorín, we use wall lights like BALIC to articulate exterior architecture rather than simply illuminate it. It works particularly well on facades, columns, and circulation paths where a directional wash of light enhances texture and depth. In Budapest residential contexts, especially in renovated buildings with defined exterior detailing, this type of fixture helps structure nighttime presence without visual clutter. The selectable colour temperature allows us to adapt the atmosphere, from warmer tones for residential gardens to more neutral light for pathways and access areas.

BALIC is designed by Yembara Studio for Faro Barcelona, a brand known for combining technical performance with contemporary design clarity. The project reflects an architectural approach to outdoor lighting, where the emphasis is placed on light effect and integration rather than object prominence. The result is a fixture that supports the building’s geometry and materiality, aligning with current European approaches to exterior lighting design.
